It was a mild day in Hell when a short man with a bright grin stepped over to the small café. He was pleased with the performance of a young widow. She wore a yellow bandanna and had dark slender legs. She bent a careful eyebrow at the man and then sent a short smile back to him. The nerves in his face and neck started bouncing around as he leaned against a mailbox on the sidewalk. He wanted desperately to say something clever to her and grab the widow’s attention. Frustrated as the man lost his vocal chords in the dust bunny that popped from nowhere he stood there blankly. He was determined, though, to make his point. Putting his hands behind his back and slightly dancing as his eyes rolled up in her direction, the man began to hum a song.
The widow giggled as she placed her hands over her heart and the breeze farted a melody. She then raised her hands and revealed hairy armpits. This action caused the short man to drool, the drool created a long puddle before his feet. She smiled at him fully and her teeth fell out of her head. Then nodded to him and dove into the drool. There she swam and he watched with horror as the yellow bandanna floated before his eyes. A bug named Heb was sitting on the lamppost on the opposite side of the drool pool. Heb produced a notebook and began to sketch.
After several hours, Heb said to the moon, “Well, now that sure makes a very interesting picture doesn’t it?”
To which the moon replied, “Sure it does, and someday people will realize that sunscreen causes cancer!”
Okay, so what? I am entitled to be bored now and then too. Despite all of the technological advances, you can’t tell me that every now and then you don’t get bored out of your mind.
